The Route of the Future
The Route of the Future centers on the journey of Doğu and Gizem with the goal of making it in time for the festival to be organized for children affected by the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş. This three-day journey is not just a story of arrival; it transforms into a warm narrative that brings together the people, forms of solidarity, and small hopeful moments they encounter in different cities across Turkey. Every contact made along the way amplifies the emotion of the story, opening the door to a natural, sincere, and at times humor-infused world.
The project combines a large-scale road production covering all of Turkey with a documentary-style narrative language. Filmed in different cities, in real locations, and with a constantly moving crew structure, the shoot makes the rhythm of the road, the diversity of the geography, and the naturalness of the encounters the main elements of the visuals. Bringing together fictional narrative and observational camera language, Route of the Future offers a powerful production experience nourished by Turkey’s streets, roads, and human stories.
